Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) CPD
Republic Act 10912 which is also known as the “CPD Act of 2016” states that CPD is a mandatory requirement in the renewal of professional license and accreditation system for the practice of professions (Section 10, Article III).
The following are the salient points of the PRC Resolution No. 2013-774 or otherwise known as the Revised Guidelines on the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program for all Registered and Licensed Professionals:
= The CPD Credit Units (CU) is computed on the basis that one lecture/workshop hour of CPD Program shall
be equivalent to one CU.
= The required CPD Units for Medicine is 45 CUs in 3 years.
= For seminars/workshops, the CUs are as follows:

= Conversion: 1PRC-CPD CU = 10 PMA-CME units
